What You’ll Do
We are seeking a quality-focused and collaborative professional to help develop and strengthen BCSP’s accreditation and quality programs. In this role, you will support and manage accreditation readiness, coordinate internal and external audits, contribute to impartiality activities, and help maintain the quality management system. This role reports to the Director of Quality and Risk Management, and you will work across teams to drive continuous improvement, protect the credibility of BCSP credentials, and help ensure certification programs are fair, defensible, and aligned with best practices.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare for and coordinate third-party internal audits and assessments according to accreditation requirements and policy.
- Participate in credentialing activity/adverse decision complaint and appeal program.
- Participate in corrective and preventive action processes, ensuring resolution and documentation.
- Facilitate at an administrator level the policy and procedure management system including contributions to document control, streamlining, accuracy, and training of staff.
- Oversee contractor audit program.
- Maintain, analyze and report on key departmental and program metrics
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED
- Advanced degree / education and 4-5 years of experience in quality management.
- Experience in quality assurance, risk management, compliance, auditing, accreditation, or related area preferably within credentialing, education, testing, or a regulated environment
- Experience with process mapping tools or quality management software
- Familiarity with accreditation standards such as ISO/IEC 17024, ISO/ANSI/ANAB frameworks
- Familiarity with quality management standards such as ISO 9001 frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while maintaining impartiality and objectivity
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Experience working in a non-profit or mission-driven organization
