3 years of experience in quality assurance for an analytical or environmental or other chemical laboratory.

• Implement new Lab Information Management System (LIMS) to meet reporting requirements for quality control and quality assurance.
• Work with developers to ensure chemical QA requirements are captured accurately, emphasizing traceability and validation.
• Perform in-depth reviews of chemistry data packages for the Indiana Dept of Environmental Management, Lead & Healthy Homes, EPA, and FDA, as well as for Laboratory Flexible Funding Model grant.
• Review chemistry procedures for method deviations from published methods and evaluate chemical inventory systems.
• Validate Excel spreadsheets used for analytical calculations and review annual competencies of 25 chemists across about 60 methods.
• Write, revise, and verify quality standards for program design and product evaluation to attain software quality efficiently.
• Evaluate program output and reports for accuracy, and policies and procedures for quality.
• Recommend program improvements or corrections to programmers.
• Identify differences between established standards and user applications, suggesting modifications to conform to standards.
• Develop laboratory AI procedures for spreadsheet validations and standard operating procedure validations.

• 1-3 years of QA Analyst experience in the field or a related area.
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
• Ability to perform job functions by following instructions and pre-established guidelines.
