• Collect windshield samples
• Cut windshields to create test samples
• Prepare samples for specific tests
• Conduct body glass fragmentation tests
• Test water softener system for each windshield line
• Conduct Distortion, Moisture, Pummel, Light Transmission, Boil, Ball Drop, Opacity testing analysis for all windshield parts
• Conduct Robustness testing as needed or required
• Conduct follow-up testing as required for non‑compliant product
• Additional testing for the European and Asian Market parts

• Intermediate experience with Microsoft Suite (Word & Excel)
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and limited direction
• Ability to compile and compose reports for internal and external purposes
• Ability to understand tempered glass and windshield standards
• Familiarity with reading & executing test specifications
• Adept at summarizing data and revealing key trends
• Detail oriented, able to maintain test logs/results/data

• 1+ years of related lab‑based testing experience (glass industry experience preferred, but not required)

• Must be able to work an alternative work schedule, including 12‑hour shifts
• Work beyond the traditional 40 hours per week may be required as workload or projects dictate, including weekends and holidays
• Proven knowledge of ANSI, European and Asian Market Standards
