Quality Assurance Specialist
- Fixed-Term Contract
- Maternity Leave Cover

In medmix Spain (Valencia, Ribarroja), we are looking for a temporary person to join us through a maternity leave substitution contract.

Quality & Processes

  • Develop and implement quality procedures.
  • Manage customer complaints from start to finish, ensuring speed and rigor.
  • Perform root cause analysis (8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa).
  • Coordinate containment and corrective actions with Production, Engineering, and Suppliers.
  • Monitor key customer KPIs and detect quality trends.
  • Support quality control in assembly processes and manage internal non-conformities.
  • Manage quality incidents with suppliers and execute follow-up.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects, including injection processes.

Audits & Quality System

  • Plan and execute internal audits according to ISO 9001.
  • Follow up on internal and external audit actions.
  • Support external certification audits and update the Quality System documentation.

Environment

  • Segregate waste correctly according to internal standards.
  • Handle materials to avoid spills and manage them appropriately if they occur.
  • Apply resource saving and waste reduction measures defined in the plant.
  • Participate in required environmental training, drills, and activities.

Safety and Health

  • Strictly comply with safety procedures and standards.
  • Use the PPE/PCE provided by the company correctly.
  • Keep equipment in good condition and do not manipulate safety devices.
  • Report any detected anomalies or risks immediately.
  • Exercise the right to abstain from untrained or unsafe tasks.

Requirements

Experience

  • At least 2 years in Quality positions in an industrial environment.

Technical Knowledge

  • Customer complaint management.
  • Root cause analysis methodologies and corrective actions.
  • Quality experience in manufacturing or assembly environments.
  • Experience in supplier quality management is valued.
  • Knowledge and experience in ISO 9001 audits.

Education

  • Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical, Industrial Organization, or similar.
  • Technical studies equivalent with relevant experience are valued.

Languages

  • English B2 (mandatory).
