We’re hiring a Quality Engineer. This person is responsible for Reviewing Contracts, Local & Federal QC Requirements. They are also responsible for creating project-based Quality Control Plan, reviewing the QC plan with the Project Team, implementing the QC Plan, performing field inspections, subcontractor/supplier inspections. The Quality Engineer will provide reports and analytics of the reporting and inspections. Assistance to the Quality Manager on QA related audits and tasks will also be performed.
We’re Looking for you to do the following:
- Builds social capital and trust with JBCC’s Quality Manager, field-based employees, project team, and customers.
- Reviewing Contracts, Blueprints, Local & Federal QC Requirements
- Creating project-based Quality Control Plans
- Reviewing the QC Plans with the Project Managers
- Implementing QC Plans
- Schedule testing and inspections based on operations, customer’s requirements, and project team needs
- Routine field Inspections and Testing with accurate documentation and reporting procedures using auditing tools
- Subcontractor & Supplier process and materials inspections
- Provide prompt reports of the inspections
- Provide trends & analytics of all inspection and testing reports
- Attend internal and job specific audits as needed
- Assist Quality Manager on quality assurance tasks including internal and external processes and auditing
- Provides feedback for improvements to overall Quality Management System
- Responsible to attend any required customer and internal meetings
- Build project team relationship & customer relationship
- Provide lessons learned reporting at closeout meetings
- Adhere to all safety requirements required internally & externally during work performance
You have:
- 1-2 years relevant experience
- Associates degree in related field
- Quality Certifications preferred
- Proficient with all Microsoft Office products
- Preferred experience with HCSS Heavy Job
- Travel required within area or region served
- Excellent organization and time management
