Research & Analytics Intern

• Conduct research projects related to current and future business opportunities
• Set up and calibrate instruments for sample analysis
• Accurately prepare samples for testing
• Support the Research and Analytics team in completing projects
• Ensure results are accurately recorded, reviewed, and verified using Good Documentation Practices, GLPs and GMPs
• Analyze, review, and report results
• Perform all other duties as assigned

• Working towards a degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Food Science, Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering or related field
• Will have completed their Sophomore year by the time of the start of the internship (preferably will have completed their Junior year)
• Must be flexible and adaptable to a fast-paced, changing environment
• Proficient command of English and strong communication skills required
• Previous experience in a quality or research lab environment a plus
• Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment a plus
• Must be able to physically perform climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions
• Must be able to work seated using a computer and phone for long periods of time
• Must be able to work extended hours, such as daily overtime and an occasional weekend
• Must possess visual acuity to document company records
• Continuous walking throughout plant and distribution center
• Lifting up to 40 pounds

Demonstrates proficiency in sample preparation and analysis while adhering to Good Documentation Practices, GLPs, and GMPs. Capable of conducting research and supporting project completion in a fast-paced environment.
