Protein Purification Scientist

Job Description

Support DNA expression technologies and high‑throughput testing using laboratory automation and liquid‑handling systems.

Perform endotoxin assays and maintain laboratory inventories.

Document experiments in electronic lab notebooks and ensure GLP‑compliant recordkeeping.

Assist with troubleshooting, operation, and maintenance of laboratory instruments.

Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of lab operations and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Participate in investigations and uphold company policies and quality standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field with 2+ years of industry lab experience, or
• Master’s degree in a related field.

• Hands‑on experience with protein purification and general laboratory techniques.

• Strong scientific, organizational, and computer skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication abilities.
• Detail‑oriented, adaptable, and self‑motivated.
• Able to work both independently and collaboratively while delivering high‑quality results.

• The position is full‑time, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Indianapolis, IN are encouraged to apply.
