Pay Range: $24.00/hr

Job Description

We are seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our dynamic team within Corteva Agriscience. The ideal candidate will have experience in wet chemistry and chromatography (LC/MS or GC/MS) and a proven ability to support analytical workflows, maintain instrumentation, and communicate results. This role will operate on-site, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., at 40 hours per week. Non-local or remote candidates will not be considered.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with analytical and metabolism scientists on sample preparation, routine analysis, and daily instrument maintenance.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional PSC teams on sample transport, lab safety, and project support.
  • Communicate assignments, progress, and deliverables to team members.
  • Draft protocols, methods, and technical reports with supervision.
  • Perform routine instrument maintenance and manage lab supplies.
  • Support physicochemical testing, including feed stability, solubility, logD, and hydrolysis.
Required

Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, chemical engineering, forensics, or a related field.
  • Experience with wet chemistry and chromatography; LC/MS or GC/MS exposure preferred.
  • One year of laboratory experience preferred; past lab work outside of academia is desirable.
  • Ability to learn and adopt new technologies and methods.
Preferred Skills
  • Hands-on experience with LC or GC techniques beyond coursework.
  • Familiarity with handling radio-labeled materials (14C); training will be provided.
