Research Associate with an Associates in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, or related field. BS Okay, MS is considered overqualified
Required Qualifications- Associate’s Degree in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, or related field
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in a molecular biology, microbiology, or genomics laboratory
- Under supervision, perform extractions of DNA, RNA, and small molecule metabolites from diverse microbes, plants, insects and vertebrate tissues.
- Ship nucleic acids and other materials in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Execute common microbial genomics analytical methods, including spectrophotometry, PCR, digital PCR, and gel electrophoresis
- Maintain accurate records and communicate with relevant stakeholders
