Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail‑oriented Bioanalytical Analyst to join our Large Molecule Assay team within Research and Breakthrough Innovation s laboratory‑based position is focused on the execution of ligand‑binding assays (LBAs) to quantify monoclonal antibodies and other protein therapeutics in biological matrices. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with immunoassay platforms and a strong desire to learn about the unique challenges associated with the bioanalysis of large molecules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform ligand‑binding assays (e.g., ELISA, MSD, Gyros) for the quantification of monoclonal antibodies in various biological fluids.
  • Perform fit‑for‑purpose bioanalytical methods according to internal SOPs and global regulatory guidelines, assessing assay performance characteristics such as accuracy, precision, selectivity, sensitivity, and stability.
  • Analyze samples from preclinical and clinical studies to provide high‑quality data to our project teams.
  • Manage critical reagent inventory (e.g., capture/detection antibodies, standards) to ensure long‑term assay consistency and performance.
  • Aid in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues with assays.
  • Assist with laboratory maintenance functions such as buffer preparation and laboratory inventory management.
  • Meticulously document all experimental procedures and results in an electronic lab notebook (ELN).
  • Work in a highly collaborative, cross‑functional matrix environment, communicating effectively with team members at various levels.
Required Qualifications
  • B.S. in Immunology, Biochemistry, Biology, or a related scientific discipline.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Hands‑on experience performing quantitative ligand binding assays using platforms such as a spectrophotometer, Meso Scale Discovery (MSD), Gyros, or Quanterix.
  • Experience with performing immunogenicity (Anti‑Drug Antibody, ADA) assays.
  • Familiarity with cell‑based neutralizing antibody (NAb) assays.
  • Strong data analysis skills and experience with relevant software (e.g., Soft Max Pro, Benchling).
  • Excellent problem‑solving abilities and a high degree of scientific rigor.
