Job Description Key Responsibilities
- Formulation Preparation
- Accurately weigh reagents and excipients per formulation SOPs
- Mix and prepare formulations according to written protocols
- Analytical Testing (UPLC)
- Prepare samples and run UPLC for formulation/content analysis
- Follow SOPs for method setup, solvent/mobile phase prep, sample injection, and data analysis
- Characterization Testing
- Perform texture analyzer testing on microneedle arrays (e.g., mechanical strength, insertion force) per SOP
- Perform microscopic evaluation of microneedle arrays (e.g., needle integrity, morphology) per SOP
- Maintain accurate lab notebooks/records for all tasks performed
- Follow all lab safety and documentation standards
Qualifications
Required Background & Skills- MS/PhD: 1-2 yrs exp or BS: 3-5 yrs exp
- Hands-on experience in a pharmaceutical, biotech, or analytical chemistry lab
- Demonstrated experience with formulation prep: accurate weighing, calculations, and mixing per SOP
- Demonstrated experience running UPLC/HPLC, including solvent/mobile phase prep, sample injection, and data analysis
- Exposure to texture analyzer testing and microscopy are a plus
- Position is full-time, working Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.
-5:00p.m overtime as needed - Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Indianapolis, IN are encouraged to apply.
