Responsibilities
- Drive sustained integration of HEOR from early clinical development through commercialization.
- Develop and oversee health outcomes (HO) research strategy for compounds in relevant therapeutic areas.
- Serve as HEOR strategic partner on lead/core teams during development and/or commercialization.
- Formulate and drive Patient Focused Outcome (PFO), Real World Evidence (RWE), and/or economic value strategies for priority products and geographies.
- Establish consistent yet agile HEOR standards across the oncology portfolio.
- Develop high-impact HO research across the product lifecycle; apply technical expertise (e.g., statistical analysis, economic modeling, clinical trials, PFO development, observational/epidemiologic research, value assessment).
- Apply disease state knowledge to solve HO issues for registration, pricing, reimbursement, and access.
- Lead HO evidence planning/implementation with cross-functional teams; influence prioritization, trade-offs, and recommendations.
- Communicate HO information to partners and external audiences; lead dissemination (abstracts, posters, presentations, promotional materials, manuscripts).
- Plan and drive application of deliverables to increase HO impact.
- Monitor HO methodologies and disease state/market developments; plan HEOR capacity/strategy.
- Ensure HO projects meet timelines, budget, and scope.
- Doctorate (PhD/MD) with 3–5 years OR PharmD/MS with 3–5 years delivering outcomes strategies/projects.
- 3–5 years hands-on Real World Data experience using statistical tools (R, SAS, Python) to harmonize/analyze large EHR and/or administrative claims data and translate research questions into specifications.
- Strong written/verbal communication; translate complex science clearly.
- Ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
- Demonstrated experience setting/leading HEOR strategy across a portfolio/therapeutic area.
- Demonstrated ability to drive research to completion and dissemination.
- Global, customer-focused, solution-oriented mindset.
- Travel: 10–25% (domestic/international). Full-time;
Lilly Corporate Center (Indianapolis, IN) and US-Remote. - Anticipated wage: $141,000–$250,800; eligible for company bonus and comprehensive benefits (e.g., 401(k), medical/dental/vision, life insurance, paid time off, well-being benefits).
