Help us set the tone for excellence in the execution of our seasonal menus as a back-of-house employee at Upland Brewing Company! We are hiring hard-working, punctual cooks with a passion for craft beer & local food to join our culinary team.
In addition to the responsibilities below, the Sous Chef will facilitate ordering, managing labor, managing quality of food in all areas of the kitchens, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, running the commissary kitchen, and assisting with banquet and catering prep and execution. Must be able to coordinate daily kitchen operational functions and work closely with Executive Chef to execute these duties.
Responsibilities- Set up/close workstations
- Cook dishes while maintaining Upland culinary standards
- Maintain a clean environment while following health & safety guidelines
- Set your teammates up for success with precise & efficient ingredient prep
- Proven working experience as back of house management
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment & utensils
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to listen & communicate effectively
