Job Title
Job Summary:
Must be dependable, in good health, able to lift up to 50 pounds at limited times, stand, sit, push/pull and/or bend for periods of time, good attendance record is a must and have good organizational and detail skills. Hiring Full and Part Time and Full and Part Time Substitute positions. Flexibility required. POS experience preferred but not required. Food service experience preferred but not required.
May work when students are not in session. Will train and work within all 4 buildings as needed. Major Functions:
Perform a variety of Kitchen and Point of Sale tasks essential to the efficient operation of the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) and National School Breakfast Program (NSBP). Assist with industry standards of quality food preparation, sanitation practices, serving line and cash register duties of the food service areas. Work during breaks as needed for routine kitchen maintenance, work grant programs and additional feeding programs.
This covers confidentiality, monitoring students, and industry safety standards.
