Bistro - Cook II

Description

• Follows recipe specifications and maintains high quality and consistency.
• Cooks in a high volume and high quality environment.
• Works from production sheets & recipes.
• Has knowledge of basic soup and sauce production.
• Follows directions of Sous Chef or Lead Cook (Cook III).
• Works cooperatively with others under high stress.
• Assists with food preparation.
• Wears appropriate uniform – chef coat, wardrobe‑issued pants, socks, slip‑resistant black shoes, cook beanie, and/or hair net.
• Provides service to internal and external customers reflecting the company culture of Satisfaction, Togetherness, Appreciation and Recognition (S.T.A.R.).
• Immediately informs on‑site IGC Agent on duty, Security, and Supervisor on Duty of any Internal Control or State Regulation violations related to gaming activity, and reports pursuant to company Self‑Reporting Policy.

• Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned or directed by a Chef.
• Keeps and uses rotated food items using FIFO method (First In, First Out).
• Keeps refrigerators and dry storage clean & organized.

• Experience
  
  Required:
  
  Six months previous experience in kitchen production.
• Education Required:
  
  High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Skills, Knowledge and/or Abilities
  
  Required:
  
  Ability to communicate effectively with others at all times; understands and complies with all Company and departmental rules and regulations; basic knife skills.
