- Assist with food preparation duties such as cutting, peeling, and bagging
- Serve students, staff, and peers in a friendly and efficient manner by serving on a food line, replenishing food as needed, cashiering, stocking supplies, and other duties as assigned
- Operates and/or utilizes various pieces of kitchen equipment such as ovens, stove tops, mixers, choppers, slicers, and dishwashers
- Maintains a clean and sanitary environment at all times by washing dishes, cleaning kitchen work and serving areas, and maintaining a garbage collection area while always adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
- Adheres to food safety standards, including proper storage and handling of food, to make sure that food is free of contaminants and pathogens that might cause illness
- Stamina to stand for extended periods of time as well as lifting and carrying
- Other duties as assigned by Food Services Director or Kitchen Manager
