General Manager-Greenwood

The General Manager is responsible for leading the FOH and BOH operations of the Cafe. The GM will spend significant time performing & assisting with managerial duties, as well as some back of house cooking functions. Key responsibilities include managing, training and disciplining cafe crew members along with interviewing, hiring, & scheduling for the cafe. The GM is responsible for ensuring excellent guest experience, the safety of our guests, team members, property, and product quality.

The GM must operate within brand standards.

• Leads and coaches Assistant Managers and staff during each shift to ensure brand standards are upheld.

• Minimum of 2 years of managerial experience.
• Experience recruiting, hiring, training & developing employees.
• Experience in providing excellent customer service.
• Flexible hours that can include evenings and weekends.
• Demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence in both front of the house & back of the house.
• Must have a proven track record of managing cost of goods & labor.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Effective verbal & written communication skills.
