Cafeteria/Food Service Worker4 Hour Position - 182 Days TYPE OF POSITION:

REPORTS TO:

Cafeteria Manager, Food Service Coordinator, Principal, Director of Finance, Superintendent POSITION

PURPOSE:

Under the direction of the Cafeteria Manager and the Food Services Director. Performs various duties involving food preparation including receiving, storing, preparing, serving, cleaning and maintaining of food, supplies, equipment and facilities.

Maintains the integrity and accountability of the school food services program through compliance with all federal, state and local regulations.

• Prepares items following the manager's instructions.
• Clean and maintain a quality kitchen environment.
• Put away daily deliveries rotating stock as necessary.
• Serve the student customers with a smile and good attitude.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Basic knowledge of computer operation and functions
• Basic grammar, reading, math, interpersonal relations and organizational skills.
• Pleasant and courteous.
• Willingness to adapt to change and expand your skills.
