Position Overview

Key Responsibilities- Prepare fresh scratch-made meals using a recipe for residents according to planned menus and dietary guidelines.
- Assist the Food Service Manager with inventory control and ordering supplies.
- Properly store food and kitchen supplies to maintain freshness and prevent waste.
- Supervise and support Dietary staff when the Food Service Manager is unavailable.
- Set up breakfast bars, steam tables, and other meal service stations.
- Maintain cleanliness in work areas and ensure all kitchen cleaning tasks are completed.
- Prepare and stock snacks and standard pantry items for resident areas.
- Utilize technology and computerized systems to efficiently and safely create a great dining experience for our residents and families.
- High School Diploma or GED/HSE preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years similar cooking experience preferred.
