OSM Thome Recruitment is looking for experienced Demi Chef de Partie for unique career opportunities in the cruise industry, on behalf of Carnival Cruise Line.
The cruise ships of Carnival Cruise Line are floating hotels and guest like to enjoy all the delicious food prepared onboard.
As Demi Chef De Partie (DCDP) for Carnival Cruise Line you will be responsible for supporting the Executive Chef and rest of the Galley Management team to oversee the activities of the food preparation and meal services aboard the ship, within your assigned area.

Rotation: 7-8 months on / 2 months off.
Responsibilities and Tasks:- To maintain the quality and presentation of all food served and the expedition thereof
- To follow all USPH procedures in all food production and galley maintenance.
- To assist the first cook in directing and leading the assistant cooks and trainees.
- To ensure back up is provided for the service lines.
- To follow all recipes to company specifications, and avoid wastage.
- To communicate and cooperate with all other team members, to ensure a smooth food delivery system.
- To ensure environmental separation standards are followed
- To perform all other tasks assigned by senior management.
- At least 3+ years experience from similar roles at Hotel, Resort or Cruise vessels.
- US Visa C-1/D is preferred however not required at the time of application (the transit and crew member VISA must be obtained before start date)
- Covid 19 Certificate
- Health certificate
- Basic Training Certificates as per STCW standard
- English language proficiency
