Summary

The Regional Merchandiser, Visual is responsible for the organization, transport, and production of visual display developments for new store locations, displaying merchandise in windows, showcases, and on the sales floor. The role brings visionary ideas and a love for great design and customer experience, inspiring customers by applying knowledge of the brand to create visual merchandising that attracts and retains them.

The individual partners with store operation leaders to drive visual merchandising strategies, ensuring standards are maintained and extraordinary customer experiences are promoted. The field is trained to carry out the visual strategy of the organization.

• Supports new store actions as needed to lead new store VM sets for each store/market, creating a strong brand image and enhancing customer experience.
• Assists with relocation and 993‑week visual merchandising plans.
• Owns the overall retail and visual experience for new store locations, ensuring successful launches and ongoing operations.
• Provides hands‑on training to store teams and store operation leaders on VM strategies, principles, product presentation standards, and visual excellence.
• Supports holding stores accountable for visual merchandising standards and reinforces with operation leadership the principles behind those standards.
• Assists the Visual Merch Manager in executing visual directives as needed.
• Communicates inventory levels or issues to buyers/allocation team, directs new fixture roll‑outs, evaluates store layouts for regular product refreshes, and reports findings to influence floor plans and directives.
• Collaborates with merchants, allocation, procurement, and signage team members to ensure store teams have all necessary elements to execute.
• Leads visual merchandising walkthroughs at the store level, ensuring visual merchandising meets the highest standards.
• Completes expense reports, new store contact sheets, maintenance reports, and records from new store settings monthly.
• Collaborates with corporate partners in Property Management on updates and projects for new store locations.
• Coordinates with District Sales Managers on scheduling and managing borrowed employees to assist with visual merchandising.
• Communicates key information vital to the success of new initiatives.
• Completes and verifies sale setups in stores to support promotional campaigns and maintain operational efficiency.
• Designs visual displays or executes design decisions of others to maintain brand consistency, optimize sales performance, and enhance customer experience.
• Creates and maintains compelling merchandise presentations that engage customers and stimulate sales activity.
• Ensures sign‑age, fixtures, lighting, and display equipment are well maintained and reflect company standards.
• Protects company assets and financial information by ensuring accurate and effective internal control procedures and reporting potential fraud risk.
• Measurable outcomes include accomplishing new store/visual store sets on time to achieve strategic growth, maximize returns, and maintain operational efficiency, and achieving revenue growth that reflects increasing sales and long‑term profitability.
• Travel is expected up to 60% of the time.
• On‑call duties: after hours and weekends.

• No supervisory responsibilities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Retail Merchandising or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of related experience.
• Strong attention to detail with emphasis on visual merchandising skills.
• Ability to create and easily articulate the strategies behind strong visual merchandising.
• Strong visual and oral presentation skills.
• Ability to prioritize, plan, and meet deadlines.
• Problem‑solving mindset, taking initiative to develop out‑of‑the‑box solutions to achieve goals.
