Job Overview

Mobile Associates, Store‑in‑Store are an integral part of the Retail Team responsible for bringing the T‑Mobile brand to life within National Sales partner locations. They are ambassadors who create energy and excitement around our products and services, building and deepening relationships with customers through meaningful interactions.

Job Responsibilities
  • Proactively engage with a broad range of customers in a highly‑traffic retail environment, using digital tools, communicating effectively, educating customers, and showcasing the value of T‑Mobile solutions.
  • Leverage digital self‑serve tools during customer interactions and onboarding, using solution‑based selling techniques to demonstrate value of T‑Mobile products and services.
  • Complete training on the T‑Mobile in‑store experience, new skills, products, and processes; stay updated on current promotions and Hub updates to remain customer ready.
  • Maintain a customer‑obsessed approach: be friendly, engaging, build rapport, trust, and loyalty while exceeding customer expectations and proactively driving sales activity.
  • Collaborate with nearby store locations to properly onboard customers, perform skill practice, knowledge sharing, store operations, opening and closing procedures, and secure kiosk assets.
  • Handle price overrides for specialty offers specific to National Retail and follow best practices for performance metrics.
Education and Work Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • At least 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience in a retail environment (preferred).

Skills and Abilities
  • Customer‑satisfaction passion and advocacy, balancing experience and performance goals (Required)
  • Team building, collaboration with peers and store leaders to provide resolutions and share best practices (Required)
  • Retail sales competitive drive to succeed in a fast‑paced sales environment (Required)

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

Hourly Base Pay: $18.00, plus $5.00 per hour training pay. Within the first 90 days, Mobile Associates receive on‑the‑job training and are eligible for hourly training pay. After completion, promotion to Mobile Expert offers an annualized incentive target of $18,000/year. Employees are guaranteed to earn at least $20/hour inclusive of base pay and incentives.
