In the development of our butchery section, Intermarché Sainte-Livrade-sur-Lot is looking for its future Chef Butcher (H/F).

A true meat professional and a local manager, you will ensure the complete management of the traditional and self-service butchery section. You will guarantee the quality of the products, customer satisfaction, and the economic performance of your sector. The duties of a butcher chef in large distribution generally include managing supplies, team management, respecting hygiene standards, and the commercial development of the section.

Your duties

• Manage and animate the butchery section.
• Supervise, train, and support the butchery team.
• Place orders, manage stocks, and supplies.
• Ensure the quality, traceability, and freshness of the products.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety, and cold chain standards.
• Develop the turnover and profitability of the section.
• Implement attractive commercial operations.
• Advise and retain customers with your expertise.

Profile sought

• CAP/BP Butcher minimum.
• Confirmed experience in traditional butchery and in large distribution.
• Experience in team management is appreciated.
• Sense of commerce, customer service, and product quality.
• Diligence, autonomy, initiative, and leadership.
• Passionate about your profession and quality products.
