Position: 1st Assistant Manager- LD60
Location: Indianapolis

Job Summary

Hourly position responsible for assisting the store manager in administering and managing day-to-day operations, including staffing, customer relations, inventory, and security. Requires a 40+ hour work week; primarily shifts opposite that of the manager to ensure continuous coverage.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the store manager with daily operational tasks.
  • Ensure optimal staffing coverage for days, nights, and weekends.
  • Maintain customer service standards, drive sales, and address customer inquiries.
  • Handle inventory management and store security.
  • Support sales, promotion activities, and store merchandising.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience in retail, sales, or hospitality preferred.
  • Management experience or training desired.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Excellent time‑management, problem‑solving, and multiple‑tasking abilities.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lb and stand 4–8hours.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Must be 18years or older and able to pass a background check.
Compensation and Benefits

Base Pay: $11.50/hour.
Commission: $7.00–$9.00/hour depending on sales.
Sign‑on Bonus: $250 after 30 days and $250 after 60 days. Additional benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, accidental death, Flexible Spending/Health Savings Accounts, paid time off, and a 401(k) retirement plan.
