Position Summary
Ag Express Electronics is seeking a Service Receiving Clerk to join our team. In this position, you will play a significant role in expanding and achieving our service operations. You will collaborate closely with the service team to ensure quality and accuracy, engage directly with customers, manage product entries, and handle administrative responsibilities regarding billing, customer accounts, and external communications.
Key Responsibilities Technical Skills- Receive incoming service repair orders to the service department, accurately entering data into the ERP system.
- Identify product item codes and update product identification catalog as needed.
- Accurately enter customer requests such as symptoms, estimate approvals, and other service-related information into the ERP system.
- Maintain open lines of communication with customers to inform them of estimates, billing, and shipping inquiries.
- Find and create new customer accounts, maintaining meticulous records of all account‑related information.
- Create positive customer experiences by warmly welcoming visitors at the front counter, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated from the moment they arrive.
- Strive for excellence in customer service by actively listening to customer needs, offering personalized assistance, and going above and beyond to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty to Ag Express.
- Perform quality control procedures on all documents and paperwork from Electronics Repair Technicians before transferring product to the Shipping department.
- Open incoming shipments, keeping associated paperwork, documentation, and customer information organized in the appropriate location.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Proficiency in basic mathematics to verify quantities and perform regular inventory counts.
- Demonstrated willingness to continuously learn new skills and develop process improvements.

- Ability to move efficiently between tasks with strong self‑motivation.
- Maintains confidentiality of all company and customer records with meticulous attention to detail.

Education:
High school diploma or GED required.
Experience:
Prior experience with ERP platforms is advantageous.
Computer
Skills:
Ability to use standard office equipment and computer applications such as Microsoft 365.
Lifting and Carrying:
Occasionally, the role may involve lifting and carrying equipment, tools, or materials weighing up to a certain limit.
Mobility:
Occasionally, the role may require the ability to ascend and descend ladders to access high‑level shelving where certain equipment and tools are located.
Standing and Walking:
Some tasks may require standing and walking around the facility for limited periods of time, such as collaborating with coworkers and acquiring inventory.
Sitting for Extended Periods:
Much of the work may be conducted at a desk or workstation, requiring the ability to sit for extended periods.
Repetitive Motion:
Some tasks may involve repetitive motions of the hands, especially prolonged periods of typing on a computer to perform administrative and operational tasks. Ergonomic practices should be followed to minimize the risk of repetitive strain injuries.
Safety Awareness:
Awareness of and adherence to safety protocols and procedures is essential when working with and around electrical systems and equipment to minimize the risk of electrical hazards or accidents.
