Overview

Anderson Powersports in Parker, AZ is looking for a Lot Porter to join our team. The lot porter is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all vehicles and company grounds. This is an important job that directly contributes to the success of business operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the appearance of stock vehicles – all vehicles should be washed.
• Report any mechanical problems immediately to a Service Manager.
• Prepare vehicles for delivery – wash, perform quality checks, and verify damage, driveability, and cleanliness.
• Maintain the appearance of the lot and showroom.
• Keep new and pre‑owned lot neat and orderly.
• Maintain a safe, clean & professional environment; drive safely, wear a seat belt, and observe the 5 MPH speed limit on dealership property.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by performing work correctly the first time to prevent comebacks; prioritize comebacks if they occur.
• Perform other tasks as directed.
• Show up on time, ready, and able to perform essential job functions.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and practices.

Required Education and Experience

• Three years of licensed driving experience and a good driving record preferred.
• High School or GED preferred.
• Experience washing/detailing vehicles preferred, but not required.
• Must act in a safe and responsible manner at all times.
• Must pass a drug screen and background check.

Physical Demands

Job duties may involve occasional standing, walking, sitting, and handling objects. The employee may need to lift or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
