Customer Service Representative

The Badlands Off Road Park, the premier off-road destination in the Midwest, is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our team in offering customers top notch customer service.

As a Badlands representative, you will be responsible for greeting customers with a smile and a happy, outgoing personality! Key priorities include welcoming customers, assisting them with selection of merchandise, completing transactions, completing paperwork for park entry, answering phones, and answering questions regarding the store and merchandise. Exceptional customer service and greeting customers with a smile is extremely important in this role because people come here to have fun!

• Provides customer engagement in a positive and approachable manner.
• Completing liability paperwork for customers to be able to enter to ride.
• Assists in maintaining a clean, well-stocked store for customers during their shopping experience.
• Help with unloading of merchandise from delivery trucks, organizes merchandise, and transports merchandise from stockroom to sales floor.
• Independently stock shelves and recovers merchandise in the store.
• Accurately handles customer funds and processes transactions using the POS system.
• Remains constantly aware of customer activity to ensure a safe and secure shopping environment.
• Other duties may include: event participation, receiving, and more.
• Performs all other duties as assigned to maintain an effective and profitable store operation.

Availability: This is a full-time or part-time position. Weekends are required; hours are mostly weekend mornings to early afternoon along with extended hours on event days.

Education: High School Diploma or GED is required.

Experience: No experience is necessary, but experience working in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or similar environments is helpful. Ability to follow directives and interpret retail operational guides as assigned.

Physical Requirements:Must be able to meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to work outside in the elements when required.

Ability to count money, add totals and make change without a cash register. Excellent customer service. Self-motivated. Ability to fluently speak both Spanish and English to better help our Spanish speaking customers is a huge plus.
