Lead Sales Associate

Role Overview:
The Lead Sales Associate maintains a clean, organized store with a customer-first approach, assisting customers, operating cash registers, stocking merchandise, and ensuring store cleanliness. They act in a lead capacity in the absence of management and perform duties to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.

• Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers.
• Operate cash registers, handle transactions, and assist with merchandise.
• Stock, rotate, and display merchandise following company standards.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety protocols.
• Support the implementation of planograms and store setup.
• Open and close the store as directed and perform managerial duties when necessary.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of safety policies, cash handling, and store security.
• Ability to read planograms, perform math calculations, and operate cash registers.
• High school diploma or equivalent; supervisory experience preferred.

Frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting (up to 55 pounds). Ability to handle merchandise and equipment, climb ladders, and adapt to a fast-paced environment. Occasional travel and outside weather exposure may be required.
