As the primary representative for the Indianapolis market, you’ll go beyond selling components, you’ll act as a trusted technical partner
, helping customers solve real‑world industrial challenges. You’ll grow territory revenue by developing long‑term relationships with engineers, maintenance leaders, and purchasing teams
, while expanding both new and existing accounts.
- Grow the Territory:
Actively pursue new business while expanding existing accounts through consistent, on‑site customer engagement - Provide Technical Solutions:
Advise customers on proper specification and selection of fluid power and power transmission products - Manage the Sales Cycle:
Drive opportunities from initial quote through close, ensuring accuracy and follow‑through - Interpret Technical Data:
Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to recommend practical solutions - Deliver Full‑Cycle Support:
Partner with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment, delivery, and ongoing account success
- Experience:
8+ years in power transmission, fluid power, bearings, construction, or a related industrial field - Technical
Skills:
Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and blueprints - Analytical Ability:
Comfortable working with percentages, ratios, and decimals for accurate quoting - Communication:
Strong written and verbal communication skills across phone, virtual, and in-person settings - Education:
Associate degree or higher preferred
