Brewery Representative

Brewery Representative – Central Indiana

We are hiring a full-time Brewery Representative to work exclusively in Central Indiana. The territory includes Indianapolis, Fishers, Noblesville, Westfield, Muncie and Lafayette. Candidates must live within the listed territory.

• Sell our entire Boston Beer Company (BBC) product portfolio
• Focus 100% on selling products and/or upgrading the number of product lines in retail accounts (bars/restaurants, liquor/grocery stores, convenient stores)
• Identify major accounts that are not currently selling BBC products and develop a plan to establish business with such accounts
• Improve conditions and merchandise accounts by building displays, resetting coolers, and displaying point‑of‑sale items to increase brand visibility
• Partner with distributors to ensure orders are placed, products are received, and business is growing at accounts
• Conduct waitstaff/bartender education, beer tastings and evening promotions
• Manage day‑to‑day variations in work conditions due to the customer‑facing nature of the role
• Be prepared for occasional weekend and holiday work to support business needs
• Occasional travel for meetings and trainings
• Regular travel within the market to service retailers and wholesalers

Minimum Qualifications:

• 1+ years of proven results‑oriented experience in outside sales or within the food & beverage industry
• An intense competitive spirit with an assertive, confident personality
• Valid driver’s license, registered and insured vehicle, and ability to drive to and from accounts continuously
• Ability to lift and move cases of beer frequently
• Ability to climb, kneel, and stoop to arrange and display point‑of‑sale frequently

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree

Salary range: $47,000 – $62,000 (dependent on experience, skill set, and location) with discretionary annual bonus and potential car allowance.
