Job Overview

SEKO Logistics is an innovative and flexible provider of first‑class logistics services, specializing in transportation, logistics, forwarding and warehousing. The role focuses on acquiring and retaining profitable business relationships and driving revenue growth through transportation and logistics services.

Key Accountabilities
  • Acquire and retain profitable business relationships generating quota revenues.
  • Develop and maintain expert knowledge of customers, competitors and marketplace information.
  • Develop and execute successful account sales strategies using SEKO’s tools, technology, network personnel and training.
  • Demonstrate excellence in internal and external communication through written and verbal messages tailored to diverse audiences.
  • Define optimal target accounts, analyze the sales arena, and position SEKO’s unique value proposition.
  • Report sales activity, business opportunities, results and competitor information to management.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge through training, workshops, publications and professional societies.
  • Develop and execute a yearly business plan aligned with the National Sales Plan for the assigned territory.
  • Conduct sales calls, client entertainment and travel, including weekend and evening activities as required.
  • Comply with SEKO’s C‑TPAT Security Profile and uphold SEKO’s core values.
  • Participate in creating a safe and healthy workplace and follow safety procedures.
  • Co‑operate with management to fulfill legislative obligations.
  • Perform other duties assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Strong ability to develop and apply sales strategies at every level of a client’s organization.
  • Probing skill to identify customers, potential solutions and SEKO opportunities.
  • Positive "can do" attitude, ownership, accountability and results orientation.
  • Effective closing ability to bring the sales cycle to successful conclusion.
  • Strong ability to handle objections internally and externally, professionally and successfully.
  • Relationship management skills, building rapport and creating value for clients and SEKO.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage people, tasks and market development opportunities with the right attitude and action plans.
  • Excellent negotiating skills to maintain sufficient margins.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to remain organized while traveling.
  • PC literate with intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web‑based and job‑specific applications.
  • Ability to become proficient in SEKO’s technology solutions.
Education & Experience

Minimum:
Bachelor’s Degree in Transportation, Logistics or Supply Chain Management (or equivalent work experience). Minimum five years sales experience required. Preferred:
Minimum ten years industry sales experience.

Compensation

Base salary range: $75,000 – $110,000.
