Senior Inside Sales Representative Electrical​/Construction

As a Senior Representative - Inside Sales, you will interact with existing customers to increase sales of the company's products and/or services. You will obtain, create, and up‑sell orders, creating customer satisfaction and adding value to the customer's buying experience. You will own a book of larger, more complex accounts and be proficient in all aspects of the inside sales process with a focus on proactive selling techniques to add business or expand your current book of accounts.

You will also collaborate with outside sales to ensure goals are being met.

• Meet and exceed performance measurements based on volume budgets, profitability, penetration, and efficiency objectives.
• Market products and offer value‑added services.
• Develop strong business relationships in growing existing accounts and prospect opportunities within the account base.
• Own, qualify, and develop opportunities passed from marketing, outside sales, and national accounts.
• Keep abreast of new products and acquire and share competitive knowledge.
• Report industry trends, competitive pricing, and customer feedback to management.
• May function as the lead for other ISRs with respect to processes, systems, and customers.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• 4-5 years of in‑depth knowledge and experience in sales and sales administration.
• Demonstrated high level of sustained competency as a professional contributor.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work in a team environment and mentor/coach team members.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prospect and market concepts to existing and potential new accounts.
• Ability to take action in solving problems while exhibiting judgment and realistic understanding of issues.
• Ability to solve difficult and moderately complex problems; able to take a new perspective using existing solutions and identify key barriers/core problems and apply problem‑solving skills to resolve complex situations.
• Works independently with minimal supervision.
• Preferred sales experience in electrical or distribution environment.
• Ability to travel 0% - 25%.

Hourly rate: $28.26 - $36.73 per hour. Compensation may include participation in a bonus or sales incentive plan, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plan documents. Certain sales roles also offer a commission structure based on sales results, as defined by the applicable commission plan.
