Digital Dentistry Sales Specialist
As a Digital Dentistry Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for directly initiating and coordinating CAD/CAM technology sales within a defined territory. You will consult with doctors and their staff regarding products and services available, and work closely with other sales professionals to identify, qualify, and close equipment sales. CAD/CAM products include digital impression scanners, software, milling units and 3D printers.
These products and solutions provide customers with an improved digital workflow that benefits the practice and the patients.
- Generate Sales:
Actively prospect, pursue and close CAD/CAM sales. - Develop relationships with Doctors and key practice staff.
- Execute effective cold call strategies to acquire new accounts.
- Generate referrals from current customers and manufacturers’ representatives.
- Plan, coordinate, and schedule CAD/CAM-related events such as technical demonstrations and trainings, marketing activities, and co-travels.
- Sales Planning:
Prepare for sales visits and develop client‑specific sales strategies. - Actively seek information regarding Patterson products and services, competitive intelligence and industry information.
- Analyze customer’s business for needs and selling opportunities.
- Coordinate with other Patterson sales professionals to demonstrate and sell equipment and technology.
- Communicate benefits and features of equipment and technology solutions specific to the interests and needs of the customer, including financial benefits such as return on investment and tax advantages.
- Conduct demonstrations for customers, sales representatives, and equipment specialists related to CAD/CAM products.
- Hold client relationship meetings to monitor satisfaction levels with Patterson’s service and support.
- Bachelor’s Degree in any related field and 3 to 5 years’ of business-to-business outside sales experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
- Strong initiative with exceptional customer service, planning and organization skills.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to present and negotiate are required.
- Previous success attaining and exceeding sales goals is a plus.
- General computer proficiency including knowledge of MS Office is required.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift approximately 50-100 pounds.
- 3+ years of dental industry experience.
- Basic mechanical knowledge.

This position is paid on a commission basis.
