Position Overview

dormakaba is seeking a Sales Excellence Trainer based in Indianapolis, IN. The Sales Excellence Trainer is responsible for strengthening international field sales teams through hands‑on training, targeted coaching, and structured optimization sprints. The role goes beyond traditional training by acting as a sparring partner, challenger, and implementer.

HIRING SALARY RANGE:
Base Salary $80,000 - $105,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) Please visit our career site for more information on benefits.

What you will do
  • Plan and deliver sales training within the respective region, as well as execute optimization sprints at the country level, driving consistent adoption of sales methodology across all regions and supporting the onboarding of new sales representatives
  • Continuous development of existing training formats based on structured feedback and the integration of modern sales methods and emerging trends focusing on standardizing CRM structures to ensure consistency and efficiency
  • Close collaboration with Sales Managers and the Sales Excellence team ensuring alignment with business needs and priorities
  • Provide individual coaching to field sales representatives, engaging in regular sparring with local sales managers to refine approaches, and supporting complex sales processes to ensure effective execution and successful outcomes
What we require
  • BA in business or related field of study
  • Proven experience in sales and sales training, combined with an in-depth understanding of the company's products, markets, and sales processes
  • Availability to travel 60%
  • Proven experience in CRM optimization and a solid background in change management
