The RoleWe're hiring a Carrier Account Manager / Carrier Sales Representative to join our Carmel, Indiana office immediately. You'll be on the front lines of our carrier network — building relationships, securing capacity, negotiating rates, and making sure freight moves the way customers are counting on it to.
This is a high-ownership role. You'll have real responsibility from day one, room to grow quickly, and direct access to leadership in a company that's scaling.
What You'll Do- Build and manage carrier relationships — develop a reliable network of carriers across key lanes, with a focus on reefer and temperature-controlled capacity
- Source and negotiate capacity — identify the right carrier for each load, negotiate rates that work for both sides, and book it
- Own your loads end-to-end — from pickup instructions through final delivery, you're the point of contact and the problem-solver
- Track and communicate proactively — monitor shipments in real time, get ahead of delays, and keep everyone informed without being asked
- Hit your numbers — meet and exceed monthly margin goals; performance here directly affects what you earn
- Grow the book — cold call, network, and build relationships that outlast any single shipment
- 3+ years of sales experience (logistics experience a plus, not a requirement)
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- A competitive mindset — you want to win, and you're willing to put in the work
- Strong communicator who can hold their own in a negotiation and de-escalate when things get tense
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple loads at once without dropping the ball
- Someone who takes ownership rather than waiting to be told what to do
- $50,000 base salary + commission (overtime eligible — non-exempt under FLSA)
- Clear path for advancement as the company grows
- Onsite, 5 days/week — Carmel, Indiana
