Lucid Services is group is looking for an Account Executive with a proven track record of selling Information Technology staffing and recruiting solutions. This is an internal role here s individual will be responsible for developing new client relationships, expanding existing accounts, and consistently exceeding sales goals through strategic business development and consultative selling.
The ideal candidate is competitive, self-motivated, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. They understand the technology landscape, can effectively engage IT and business leaders, and have demonstrated success generating new business while maintaining long‑term client partnerships.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to generate new business opportunities within assigned territories and target markets.
- Prospect, cold call, network, and leverage referrals to build a consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities.
- Sell IT staffing, recruiting, and workforce solutions to organizations ranging from mid‑market companies to enterprise clients.
- Build trusted relationships with CIOs, CTOs, IT Directors, hiring managers, procurement teams, and executive leadership.
- Conduct client meetings to understand hiring challenges, workforce strategies, and technical staffing needs.
- Partner closely with recruiting teams to deliver highly qualified technology professionals that meet client expectations.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, pricing, and contract negotiations.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline activity, and customer information within the CRM.
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue, activity, and gross margin goals.
- Stay informed on technology trends, labor market conditions, and competitive staffing solutions.
- 3+ years of successful business development experience selling IT staffing, technology recruiting, or workforce solutions.
- Demonstrated history of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas and performance metrics.
- Proven ability to generate new business through prospecting, networking, referrals, and consultative sales techniques.
- Strong understanding of Information Technology roles, including software development, infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, data, ERP, and project management.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Strong relationship‑building and account management abilities.
- Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Bullhorn, Hub Spot, or similar systems.
- Self‑starter with exceptional time management and organizational skills.
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent business development experience.
- Experience selling contract, contract‑to‑hire, direct hire, and project‑based IT staffing services.
- Existing network of hiring managers and technology decision‑makers.
- Experience working within a staffing agency or recruiting firm.
- Familiarity with MSP, VMS, and enterprise staffing programs is a plus.
- Consistently exceeds revenue and gross profit goals.
- Maintains a healthy sales pipeline with predictable forecasting.
- Builds long‑term strategic client partnerships.
- Works collaboratively with recruiting teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
