Job Overview

Amazon Connect is a rapidly growing cloud contact‑center service that enables customers to offer high‑quality, AI‑powered experiences for both agents and end‑users at lower cost. The Connect Sales Specialist plays a central role in positioning and selling the service across enterprise accounts, driving revenue growth and shaping the future of this service category.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive revenue in a defined territory with multiple account teams and partners.
  • Meet or exceed revenue targets by helping AWS sellers navigate sales cycles and accelerate implementations.
  • Build deep relationships with customers to fully understand their business, solutions, and technical needs.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive account/territory plans supporting multiple account teams to achieve revenue and win goals.
  • Create and articulate compelling value propositions that address specific customer needs.
  • Build, manage, and close a pipeline of Amazon Connect revenue in your territory.
  • Drive business development initiatives in partnership with the Go To Market Strategy team and Partner Development resources.
  • Prepare and present business reviews to AWS senior management teams.
Basic Qualifications
  • 4+ years of contact center or 1+ years of industry experience in customer service/contact center.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements.
  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level.
  • Experience managing programs across cross‑functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to navigate a complex sales environment.
  • Experience selling into large enterprises.
  • Proven track record of sales success over an extended period.
