Overview

Field Sales Executive – Indianapolis, IN (locations: Indianapolis, IN and surrounding area). Maersk Ground Freight operates one of the largest Specialized LTL networks in the U.S., with a nationwide footprint and a focus on heavy and bulky freight, including in‑home delivery, installation, and assembly. This role supports growth of our customer base and the delivery of strategic logistics solutions, leveraging Maersk’s global footprint and product portfolio.

• Grow the customer base for Maersk Ground Freight LTL solutions.
• Develop and deliver strategic logistics solutions to customers.
• Leverage Maersk’s global footprint and diverse product portfolio to drive results.
• Collaborate with local, national, and global teams to meet customer needs and expand network reach.
• Contribute to the expansion of network through new hubs and facilities.

• 4+ years of proven sales success preferred, in ground transportation logistics or freight forwarding.
• Strong customer focus with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Analytical and solutions‑oriented mindset, especially for complex supply chains.
• Experience using Salesforce.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree is a plus.

• Base salary range: $90,000 – $100,000 USD (may be adjusted based on market conditions, experience, and location).
• Commission:
  Paid quarterly, based on gross profit performance with no cap.
• Car allowance provided to support customer travel needs.
