Business Development Representative

Smithville Communications seeks a Business Development Representative to help grow our fiber internet, voice, and communication services across Indiana. In this role, you will prospect and qualify residential and business leads, conduct outbound calls and emails, and schedule demos for our sales team. You'll build a strong pipeline in our CRM, support local campaigns, and educate prospects on our reliable, high-speed solutions.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and qualify residential and business leads for fiber internet, voice, and related services
• Conduct outbound calls, emails, and social outreach to generate new sales opportunities
• Schedule product demos and sales appointments for account executives
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in the CRM system
• Collaborate with marketing and sales to execute local campaigns and events
• Develop product knowledge of Smithville's telecom solutions and competitor offerings
• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly activity and pipeline targets
• Provide responsive, customer-first communication aligned with company values
