Overview
- Point person for end-to-end Area program development and clinical success for Monarch Surgical Technologies.
- Hire, develop, and lead Account Managers and Clinical Specialists in the assigned territory; manage territory business plan; lead clinical/technical product discussions and demonstrations.
- Drive utilization and adoption post-installation; educate physicians and staff; execute referral education and Business Review Program sessions.
- Develop and execute quarterly business plans to meet procedure and disposable revenue targets.
- Maintain a strategic, frequently updated territory business plan and support the Account Manager team’s plans.
- Achieve growth by managing the Account Manager and Clinical Specialist team.
- Recruit, coach, and monitor performance of direct reports.
- Present sales/revenue/expense reports and forecasts; communicate and share winning strategies with leaders and peers.
- Coordinate with Field Sales Territory Manager counterparts to maximize Monarch capital and procedure sales.
- Implement post-sales installation/adoption protocols; support new customers in clinical adoption; help customers meet clinical/economic goals.
- Maintain expert knowledge of Monarch products and industry/market trends.
- Bachelor’s degree + 4+ years Medical Device (or related) sales management/leadership.
- Ability to learn/communicate technical product and clinical disease-state knowledge to physicians and economic buyers.
- Travel up to 75% (overnights within territory).
- Hospital/ASC setting work; attend live patient cases as required; wear protective gear.
- Strong autonomy/problem-solving, teamwork, feedback collaboration in matrix environment.
- Highly organized; manage multiple priorities; frequent high-level communication.
- Work in regulated environments (ISO 13485, 21 CFR 820).
