Job Overview:

The Regional Sales Manager (Midwest Region) is responsible for developing and implementing a strategic plan for the Environmental market (including waste water, water treatment, ENV aftermarket sales, and environmental OEM's), as well as growing SEEPEX Inc. sales and margins in this market. Area included in the Western Region:
Ohio, Kentucky, West Virginia, Western Pennsylvania, Michigan, Northern Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota

Responsibilities:
  • Manage Environmental Sales Channel Partners (SCPs):
    Review market coverage and partner performance to increase Environmental sales revenue.
  • Drive sales opportunities:
    Manage Environmental projects through the full sales cycle and support SCPs in closing opportunities.
  • Use market intelligence:
    Leverage Dodge analytics, Gov Spend, and dashboard metrics to evaluate SCP performance and guide review meetings.
  • Develop customer and OEM relationships:
    Conduct joint sales calls, promote Seepex products and services, and identify new Environmental OEM opportunities.
  • Educate and build relationships:
    Train SCPs and Environmental Engineers on Seepex products/specifications and maintain contacts with key engineering and biosolids professionals.
  • Influence specifications and applications:
    Review project specifications, position Seepex equipment for competitive advantage, analyze competitors, and recommend appropriate solutions to Application Engineers.
  • Manage bids and aftermarket opportunities:
    Coordinate SCPs and Territory Managers, hold pre-bid meetings, establish pricing strategies, track bids/results, and support plant-level aftermarket sales.
  • Monitor and counter competitors:
    Identify key Environmental competitors, track their activities and differences, and develop presentations highlighting Seepex's competitive advantages.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma
  • 3+ years' experience with selling Industrial Pumps or related equipment
  • Valid drivers' licenses. Safe driving record

  • Demonstrates a service-oriented customer focus with proven experience in relationship building and providing quality customer experiences.
  • Strong closing and negotiating skills.
  • Must be an articulate and fluent communicator, written and verbal, and at ease with public speaking.
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal and relationship-building and maintaining skills.
  • Ability to rapidly learn and retain product/service-specific information and utilize to position the features and benefits to customers.
  • Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Superior organizational and analytical skills with keen attention to detail and quality.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a flexible, fast-paced and challenging environment.
Preferences:
  • 3+ years sales experience in the municipal or industrial water/wastewater treatment, environmental services, construction, energy or engineering industries.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements:
  • Remote with travel up to 70%
Pay Range:

The total pay range for this role, not including incentive opportunities, is $90,000 - $115,000. The pay range takes into account a wide range of factors that include a candidate's skills; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and geographic location. Hired applicant will be eligible to receive (discretionary/nondiscretionary) annual bonuses and incentive compensation.
