Chemist

Responsibilities

• Perform sample preparation, routine analytical testing, and wet chemistry experiments to support laboratory projects.
• Operate and maintain analytical instruments, including Liquid Chromatography and Gas Chromatography systems, and assist with basic troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with scientists and cross-functional teams to coordinate testing, sample management, and project activities.
• Prepare technical documentation, including methods, protocols, and reports.
• Support laboratory operations by maintaining equipment, managing supplies, and following safety procedures.
• Assist with physicochemical testing and handle specialized laboratory materials with appropriate training.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Forensic Science, or a related field.
• One plus years of hands‑on laboratory experience preferred; industry or internship experience is a plus.
• Experience with wet chemistry and analytical techniques such as LC, GC, LC/MS, or GC/MS.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a team environment.
• Good written and verbal communication skills and proficiency with standard computer applications.
• Eagerness to learn new laboratory techniques and adapt to evolving project needs.
