• Perform analyses of trace metals in electronic gases and mixtures using ICP-MS techniques with minimal direction.
• Maintain and troubleshoot ICP-MS instrumentation and sample preparation panels.
• Develop new analytical methods for trace metals analysis of electronic gases.
• Manage analytical projects, ensuring timely completion.
• Analyze test data using robust data analysis techniques.
• Apply safe laboratory skills in handling gases.
• Collaborate effectively with product development laboratory personnel and cross-functional engineering groups.
• Provide clear oral and written communication for project updates and final reports.
• Maintain state-of-the-art analytical capability to support Linde’s electronic gas business.
• Provide technical support for plant and customer problems and issues.
• Train less senior laboratory personnel.

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of seven years’ experience in an analytical laboratory or three years’ experience with an advanced degree.
• Hands‑on experience with ICP-MS sample preparation, operation, and troubleshooting.
• Fluency in Microsoft Office and statistical software.
