Position Overview

Senior Associate Consultant – responsible for overseeing and advancing ecological restoration projects across the Great Lakes region, including upland, wetland, and stream environments. The role requires project leadership, technical report writing, client proposal development, and coordination with biologists, project managers, and subcontractors.

• Prepare and oversee client proposals and technical reports for ecological restoration projects.
• Develop stream and wetland restoration plans, including modeling and design.
• Manage construction oversight of restoration projects, ensuring quality and compliance.
• Lead project management of large, multi‑subcontractor engagements.
• Identify and cultivate new client relationships and business opportunities.
• Participate in grant writing, conferences, workshops, and public speaking as needed.

• Minimum of a four‑year degree in biology, ecology, conservation, environmental science, or related field.
• At least eight years of ecological consulting experience in the natural resources field.
• Proficiency with state laws and environmental regulations.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Desirable credentials: PWS, ESA Certified Ecologist, and/or CPESC.
