Discovery Toxicology Project Leader within Investigative Toxicology OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE

The Investigative and Discovery Toxicology Organization is searching for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Discovery Toxicology Project Leader. In this role, you will be responsible for leading toxicology projects to support the discovery of new pharmaceutical small molecule products while working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution and interpretation of toxicology studies toward successful clinical candidates.

- Small Molecule Discovery Toxicology Project Leader experience. A skilled and creative scientific investigator to serve a vital role in our mission to provide innovative medicines.
- Strong leadership, mentorship and communication skills with the ability to engage cross-functionally with key stakeholders across the discovery and development enterprise.
- A motivated individual looking to collaborate and excel in a cross-functional team setting.
- Drive team level Discovery Toxicology project strategies, and design effective toxicology plans to identify hazards and address risk of toxicity for compounds moving into development.
- Plan Discovery Toxicology studies from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to deliverable and timelines.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret toxicological data (In Silico, In Vitro and In Vivo).
- Prepare and present project findings, updates, and reports, to internal and external stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver candidates molecules into the development pipeline.
- Identify and address any issues or challenges that arise during toxicology studies.
SKILLS:
- PhD in Toxicology, Pathology or related field with 5+ years of relative experience or MS/BS degree in related field with at least 15 years of applicable experience.
- Project Management Experience in the drug discovery and development process.
- Experience with regulatory guidelines and standards (e.g., GLP, FDA, EMA).
- Additional Skill:
Established leadership skills. - Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
