• This position supports the Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility. A Security Specialist II with specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
• Experience in the fields of physical, industrial, information and personnel security, participating in SAP Security Compliance Inspections and Self-Inspections
• Reporting, documenting and investigating security incidents
• Reviewing and applying governing policy including Executive Orders, DoD Security Directives, and the JAFAN Series
• Communicating orally and in writing with staff and supervisors
• Possessing the relevant experience, education, or training that demonstrates the capability to follow instructions, read, comprehend, and retain a broad range of instructions, regulations, and procedures
• Must either demonstrate this ability or have endorsements confirming the capacity to learn and perform the duties associated with the specified position
• Must show knowledge of security classification methods and concepts, eligibility criteria for accessing classified or sensitive information, procedures for granting personnel security clearances/access, and an understanding of commonly applied security principles, concepts, and methodologies used in implementing information, personnel, and physical security programs related to the protection of SCI
• Should be familiar with methods for executing duties such as conducting inspections and investigations and collecting and analyzing information
• Must possess the skill to evaluate factors that influence decision-making when addressing security issues, including critical personnel qualifications, building construction characteristics, access restrictions, equipment availability, and other elements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in physical (PYSEC), industrial, information (INFOSEC) and personnel security (PERSEC) participating in SAP Security Compliance Inspections and Self-Inspections in the DoD or IC
• Experience with ICD-705 compliance
• A minimum Top Secret security clearance or higher with the ability to obtain a Top Secret with SCI is required to be considered for this position
