Location: Crane
Pro Sync is seeking Passionate Security Specialist I to help ensure security and intelligence compliance with policies and regulations, drawing on some of the nation's leading personnel and cybersecurity thought leaders for enhancing, accelerating, and assuring the United States Navy's ability to counter existing and emerging security threats.
Responsibilities- Possessing the relevant experience, education, or training that demonstrates the capability to follow instructions, as well as to read, comprehend, and retain a broad range of instructions, regulations, and procedures.
- Must either demonstrate this ability or have endorsements confirming their capacity to learn and perform the duties associated with the specified position.
- Must show knowledge of security classification methods and concepts, eligibility criteria for accessing classified or sensitive information, the procedures for granting personnel security clearances/access, and a clear understanding of commonly applied security principles, concepts, and methodologies used in implementing information, personnel, and physical security programs related to the protection of SCI.
- Should also be familiar with methods for executing duties such as conducting inspections and investigations and collecting and analyzing information.
- Additionally, they must possess the skill to evaluate the effects of factors like critical personnel qualifications, differences in building construction characteristics, access and entry restrictions, equipment availability, and other elements that influence decision-making when addressing security issues and questions.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in Physical Security (PHYSEC) and Information Security (INFOSEC) in the DoD or IC.
- Experience with ICD-705 compliance.
- A minimum Top Secret security clearance or higher with the ability to obtain a Top Secret w/ SCI is required to be considered for this position.
- A Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
