As a Security Officer Credential Verification in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as financial institutions. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a part‑time security officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. You will monitor entry points, manage badges and visitor access, and support security‑related operations with professionalism and care.

In this role, you will remain visible to deter incidents, deliver exceptional customer service and communication, and work with a team that values being agile, reliable, innovative, and acting with integrity.

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and help deter unauthorized access to restricted areas within the financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and with problem‑solving skill, documenting security‑related concerns and reporting observations to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting unusual activity, unsecured doors, and other security‑related issues as conditions at the location may vary.
• Support front lobby and reception area operations as assigned, assisting with visitor processing, maintaining access logs, and communicating clearly with staff regarding security‑related procedures and access requests.

• At least one year of security‑related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with applicable laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
