As a Security Officer Entry Inspection in Indianapolis, IN
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a government location, where you will monitor entry points, screen visitors and property, and support daily operations with professionalism and care. In this role, you will remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, deliver strong customer service and communication, and work as part of a team that values integrity, reliability, and innovation.

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Monitor entry points and perform screening of persons, bags, packages, and/or personal items in accordance with post procedures and access requirements.
• Respond to incidents, prohibited item findings, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and report security-related concerns to site contacts and/or supervisors.
• Verify identification, direct foot traffic, and assist with visitor processing while helping to support orderly access through designated screening areas.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around assigned areas and perimeter locations as directed, with working environments and conditions varying by site.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
