As a Security Guard Armed Patrol Driver in Edinburgh, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security‑related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong communication and customer service.

Position Type: Full Time
Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour
Job Schedule: Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat, Sun 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM (five nights per week)
What You’ll Do- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors, site contacts, and/or emergency services as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and verify credentials, vehicles, and/or deliveries in accordance with site protocols, helping to support controlled entry and orderly operations.
- Maintain a visible presence while operating within post orders, following applicable use of force guidelines, and completing required reports related to daily activities, incidents, and/or inspections.
- Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
- Have 1+ years of armed security‑related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
